Insecticide and fungicide production both decreased, and production increased in July. Insecticide production dropped 8.8% to 38234 tons, comprising 12.34% of the total production. Fungicide production reduced by 6.7% to 14671 tons, accounting for 4.73% of the total production. While increased by 8.3% to 150,434 tons and accounting for 48.55% of the total production.

From Jan to July, the country produced a total of 2,196,611 tons of pesticide, increasing 2.9% on a y-o-y basis. Herbicide production in this period went up 6.5% to 1,086,316 tons. Fungicide production increased 3.1% to 112,766 tons, while production dipped 12.6% to 273,923 tons in the period.
